July's Beauty Bag

Yet again it's the end of the month and I know that I have definitly had some staples in my July Beauty Bag, so I think an end of the month post to show you all my favourite products is in order! Lets take a deeper look into some of my staple products and what it is that has made me love them so much...

I can't say that I'm an obsessive nail varnish purchaser, but when the seasons change, there are always some gorgeous new colours to go with them! This summer I am loving nudes, pastel orange, soft and sumptious blues, mint green and bright popping pink! Every colour is so beautiful that I want to wear all the colours all the time!

Nail Polishes above: nude, green, pink and blue (all Barry M), pastel orange (Rimmel 60 second nail polish)- can all be purchased at any drugstore

I went on a trip to Birmingham to watch the B'ham Royal Ballet last month, (it was spine tingling!) and after 10 minutes in the Bullring, I had already purchased two Chanel products *apologises to debit card* and treated myself to this new Chanel creme bronzer called Soleil Tan De Chanel Bronze Universial Bronzing Makeup Base. I was a little nervous to use it as the packaging was so perfect and looked so expensive and chic I didn't want to ruin it! But I thought enough was enough, it's time to stop admiring it in the pot, and start to admire it on my skin! And boy did I do just that. wow. Every individual needs this bronzer in their life! It can be worn under or on top of foundation, it is so lightweight, buildable, and soft and goes onto your skin like butter. It is promoted as a gel, but I wouldnt say that it is gel at all, its like a creme to powder finish. I use my Real Techniques blusher brush to apply it in small circular outward motions all around my face. It leaves my skin looking really natural, matte, and dewy with a bronze finish. It can also be applied onto your body for a pretty golden glow. I have also used this bronzer just with moisturiser, and no foundation, and with my MAC BB cream as a base. I am yet to try it with a tinted moisturiser but I already know I will love it!

The second product I purchased along with my Chanel Soleil Tan De Chanel Bronze Universal Bronzing Makeup Base was this amazing beautiful Chanel Rouge Allure Orange lipstick in number '96- Eccentrique'. I have an unhealthy obsession with orange lips this summer and have found with this colour being so popular in the summer months, it is so easy to get my hands on some amazing orange lip products! I went to B'ham with the intention of purchasing MAC's 'good to go' prolongwear lipstick, but I found that the Chanel looked so much more natural, was really moisturising, (unlike the MAC product which really dried my lips out) and it left a gorgeous sheen on my lips and lasted so much longer. It is so wearable in the day time with a natural/neutral eye look with peachy cheeks. To glam it up for the evening I would add a lip liner- MAC's 'what a blast' is really pretty underneath this, and pair it with a browney/bronzey smoked out eye look! For added oopmh, add on Revlons 'Kiss me Coral' to give your lips that extra plush pout!

Chanel Soleil Tan De Chanel Bronze Universial Bronzing Makeup Base can be purchased at £31.00, Chanel Lipstick in Eccentrique can be purchased at £22.00 both from any Chanel Counter.
