The July Lookbook

This month, I have really enjoyed a lot of things, and so I thought I would share with you what I have been up to in photo form!
Earlier on in July, it was my best friends 21st birthday. My friends and I spent her birthday evening enjoying a few light drinks, a yummy BBQ, homemade birthday cake and cupcakes made by me! *sitting smug* We then headed up to London on the Saturday ready and rearing to enjoy the entire weekend, and luckily for us it was one of the hottest days of the year so far! it had easily hit the 30's temperature wise!(A rareity for England). To make the most of the weather, we headed to Regents Park and chilled out with a cold water/fanta/coke/sprite and basked in the summer sun. After dragging ourselves away, we headed to are hotel in Russel Square to dump our bags, freshen up, and head into Covent Garden. We found a beautiful outdoor bar selling lovely champagne cocktails, therefore felt it rude not to go in considering the celebrations that were due to begin! I had the most amazing vodka watermelon cosmopolitan, along with a lovely glass of sparkling prosecco! We spent the evening in Soho which was very eventful, and ended up in Regent St. Feeling slightly worse for wear but not too shabby, we headed home the next day! Perfect.
Here are a few photos of the weekend so you can visualise them with me!

Another thing I have been loving in the month of July is this unbelievable gorgeous English weather that has been nicely hitting the 30's/late 20's in celcius! It has been so hot and I have been able to sit out, top up my tan and finally get on my summer dresses I have stocked up in my wadrobe!

I have danced since the age of 3 at my local dance school, and studied in Tap (my favourite), classical ballet, modern and jazz. Dancing is a passion of mine and this year I have been given the opportunity to start teaching. Each year, my dance school puts on a summer show in July, and I have never missed a year ever since I was old enough to dance in it (probably about 5/6 years old!), untill this year. I opted out of the show this year to focus on my teaching which I didn't regret whatsoever as I have enjoyed every minute of teaching and I truly believe in taking every opportunity thats given to you! However, I helped out backstage and in the wings/dressingrooms doing hair, makeup and quick changes! I love the adrenaline and buzz backstage! I took a few snapshots from backstage and in the wings, so if you have ever wondered what it's like to be backstage of a show, just scroll on down!
