Charlotte Tilbury, You Have My H.E.A.R.T

I tried to resist it, but when you love makeup like I do, and I'm finding review after review after review, it was inevitable I was going to give in. Yes, I made the mistake of typing into my search browser- www.charlottetilbury.com. My oh my was I greeted by a makeup lovers paradise. 'How To' tutorials, products created specifically for your eye colour and those absolutely to die for looks that she has created. I was under the CT spell and will be forever more. It's not often I can say that I want (yes 'want') every single product from a brand, however CT has now provided me with a reason to say it. Each product she has created, you can tell has had so much thought into it. After a good 30 minutes (probably more) browsing and staring and gawping at all the amazing products and watching the videos, I took the plunge. Just call me a 'Dolce Vita Babe' and a 'Red Vixen Bombshell'
I swiftly added two products to my basket, and quickly pressed the purchase now button before any more damage was done and waited patiently for them to arrive. I really did feel like a kid at Christmas! *Yes I said the 'c' word* I opened my parcel before I could even blink and was met by this cardboard box with the most perfectly done up celotape, and a CT symbol in the center. The most sophisticated cardboard box I have ever layed my eyes on I think. I cautiously tried to open it and inside was the most beautifully packed products. A CT design on the inside, purple gift paper secured with yet another CT sticker, and a really lovely letter! It wasn't really, just my invoice wrapped in a nice letter! Need I say more? I'l stop talking now and give you a few minutes to look through the next lot of photos in awe.
Dolce Vita Palette, £38, here & Lip Lustre Lipgloss in 'Red Vixen' from the bombshell look, £16.50, here

Arn't they just gorgeous! I especially love the palette and the fact that it has a primer, a shader, a highlighter and a pop! And not to mention that you can watch Charlotte Tilbury herself, create this look in a 'how to' video over on her website.

Each shadow is buttery soft and glides on effortlessly. I like to take a small blending brush, and sweep the primer across my eye. For a natural day look, I leave it here an apply a few lashings of mascara, but to amp up the volume, take the warm browny/red shade and shade the outer corners, bringing it down onto your lash line. To add depth to the eye, take the darkest shade and blend this into the crease. To add a pop of colour, dab your finger into the glitter, and pat it onto the center of your eye and dab out to the outer edges! Perfect for a touch of night time glam that isn't too over powering.

In terms of the lip gloss, I like to apply this on top of my favourite red lipstick. I am a very bold lip kinda gal' and so for me, this needs to be applied over a good lipstick. It gives a gorgeous shine and gives a good 'faux botox' look, but for me it is a little too light in colour to apply on its own. If you love a red lip, but with a lesser pigment giving you a really natural red shine, this would be perfect for you to wear on it's own without a lip stick underneath.

If you have tried any of CT's new makeup range, I'd love to know what you think of them! Just give me a tweet, and instagram message or come and leave me a comment on my Facebook page hereHappy Hallowseve everyone.
