Season Special: Rimmel Lasting Finish #107

With berry season in full swing, you can expect a few autumn posts about my favourite berry/red/purple coloured products to be reviewed. Now i'm really sorry to have to say this but this is an old favourite of mine and its not in the buying line anymore. However when I do find a good dupe I promise I will update this post and let you know of it! But untill then..

The good thing about when Rimmel products are no longer being replenished, you can always count on Rimmel to bring you the next best thing, and in similar shades to previous ones. So I am positive that I will be able to find you either a brand dupe or a similar Rimmel shade. What I love about rimmel lipsticks is that I do believe they have great staying power. I can count on rimmel to give me that lip locking colour, that lasts, and serves its purpose very well.

This colour has that warm undertone that takes it from your every day red( if you're that kinda gal) to a lustrous and warm typical 'its autumn' red. To me, it's not quite berry and it's not quite red, and I can't put my finger on what I think it is yet, but I absolutely love it. The full pigmentation and bold colour looks great paired with that 60's chic smokey crease, a flick of gel/liquid eyeliner and a good lashings of mascara. Warm it up even more with your favourite matte bronzer and add a neutral blitz of blush to those apples and you're good to go. To make your lips even bolder, add a dark red lipliner all over the lips to give it a little more oomph, increase staying power and stop your lovely colour from bleeding. It will also plump up those lips for a perfect pout!

Happy Autumn!
