The Review: MAC Shy Girl

I'm pretty sure this was the first MAC lipstick that I ever bought, and even now I still love it. Being a fair lady, blonde hair, blue eyes and not the most olived colour skin in the world, as much as I love nude lipsticks I do have to be careful I don't look like I have smothered foundation/concealer on my lips! I love peach colours and I think for my skin tone it is the most suitable and complimentary colour. What I love about MAC 'shy girl' is it's peachy undertone. It gives the effect of a nude lipstick, but gives a little more sumin sumin for us blondies.

I also love the consistency of this lippy. It has a thick consitency so the colour is really bold, and as it is a cremesheme lipstick it leaves a beautiful shine on your lips, and it feels really moisturing and cremey! Hence the 'cremeshene' name tag. It doesn't last the longest time on your lips, but then what lipstick does? However, being such a gorgeous colour it makes you want to update it every 10 minutes to make sure your still showing it off! But in order to update it everyday you need to pack it in yo bag! Introducing the packaging. I don't think I need to go into detail as you can see from the photos it is so travelable, pop it into your bag and it won't even make a dent!

Being in mid October, this is a really wearable nude. With its peachy undertones and soft shine, pair it with a crimson and brown smokey eye for a glam evening look, and while your there why not add a dash of bronze with a glimpse of a peachy blush and a full strip of lashes!

How would you wear this lip? Happy Autumn!
