WBOMF-October

Lets break that down. WBOMF translates to = 'Whats Been On My Face' for the month of October. Now i'v cleared that up...So as some of you may or may not know or have seen plastered all over my Twitter and Instagram, I have just finished my first month working as a hair and makeup artist in London. I absolutely LOVE it because it means that every day I can wear different makeup looks and it is so much fun! One thing I love about makeup which people who don't, don't really get is that there are so many different brands, colours, products, textures, finishes- the list is endless and that's why us makeup addicts have tons of makeup. Not because were self-obsessed but because it is so much fun creating such different looks and when you can do it every day as a job, it makes it all that much much MUCH more fun. I realise it is now mid-way through November, but I did draft this post a few weeks ago and just have not had time to finish it but its better late than never! So following is the makeup that I wore throughout the month of October!
Chanel Vitalumiere Foundation- £33, here. I previously tried the Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua foundation which I had nothing but good words to say about, and un-suprisingly, I'v heard nothing but amazing things about its sister foundation. Water based, velvety, smooth, flawless, natural and dewy. An effortlessly buildable foundation giving you up to medium-full coverage and smells delicious. Well, I think so anyway. It's an absolute must for all skin types- I am dry and sensitive, and my mum is combination-oily. She also uses it and its a staple in both our makeup bags!

MAC Blusher in Dainty- £21, here. I am a sucker for a MAC mineralised blusher. A lover of dewy looks this blusher does it all. A gorgeous baby pink with a slight shimmer (from the mineralised particles which gives it the dewy finish) it looks lovely applied onto the apples of your cheeks. Suitable for all skin tones as it is not too pink, and not too peachy. A lovely in between.

Tom Ford Lipstick in Spanish Pink- £37, here. I bought this lipstick in New York in August and I have used it almost every day since. My friends have even said to me that I use it anything but sparingly- which I should at that price! I'm going to make a bold statement here as a lover of lipsticks, that this is hands down the best lipstick I have EVER purchased. I mean it! From it's colour, creaminess, moisturising properties, lasting power and packaging I am scared for my bank account as I don't think I will ever be able to go without this lipstick in my bag ever again. It's my perfect 'your lips but better' shade. I truly truly truly understand the meaning of that after purchasing this lipstick! I'l stop now or I'l go on forever.

Charlotte Tilbury Dolce Vita Palette- £38, here. I bought this palette when it first came out and have got so much use out of it. I'm not generally a 'go-to' smoky eye gal, I will always reach for a bold lip and a neutral eye but for some reason this month i'v been going straight for this palette. This is one of the warmer palettes, with a gorgeous primer shade (that I almost always use as my all over colour on a neutral look) a red-brown, a chocolatey dark brown and a gold glitter. Gorgeous buttery soft shades that look amazing on blondes, but also great on brunettes and all the rest. I know i'm going to be getting even more use out of it when the festive season comes into swing.

NARS Laguna Bronzer- £27, here & Bourjois chocolate bronzer- £8.99 here. I have been loving these bronzers this month. They blend so well into the Chanel Foundation I have been using and have just pleased me so much every time i'v used them. I usually go all over with the Bourjous bronzer, and then deepen the colour contouring slightly with my NARS laguna. They are a great pair to use together and I'v just been absolutely loving them.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Dip Brow Pomade- £15, here. I bought this in America back in the summer after it been on my wishlist since the spring. I finally gave in and got one and oh-my-goodness gracious me is this stuff good. I have had so many compliments on my eyebrows every time I wear it! One of the girls even went as far as saying I had Marylin Monroe brows. I would say this product is more so for people that are confident in the brow area, as you could go drastically wrong with it if you're not careful or light handed with the brush, as it is so pigmented. It's a gel/creamy like formula and it can be used to fill in what you've already got, but it can also be used to create a more defined shape from extended the arch or to extending the length which is what I really like to do. One tip- to get Kylie Jenner-esque brows with the light to dark effect, I start filling in from the middle to the end, and then use whatever is left on the brush to fill in the beginning part. This will just make it look much more natural and even more gorgeous.

These have been my staples this month, have you tried any of these products or loved any as much as me?
